The research and application of fine-blanking technology in China was started in 1965. Although the fine-blanking technology was applied very early, the development of Chinese fine-blanking industry is very slow. Only with the development of Chinese auto-making industry during the past 10 years, it has been applied widely. There were over 50 fine-blanking companies (or workshops) and 5,000 employees in China in 2009. They had 120 sets of fine-blanking presses, produced about 5000 kinds of fine-blanked parts and whose turnover reached 1 billion RMB.
